Italy
We are fortunate to live in a stunning country, within a geographic area rich in artisans and companies that represent the pinnacle of global fashion quality. This is why we prioritise suppliers closest to our headquarters in Bergamo.
95% of our raw materials, including fabrics and yarns, are Made in Italy, with the sole exception of specific textiles sourced from the UK and Japan. In many instances, we achieve a fully local production cycle: from fabric sourcing to final garment construction, everything takes place within a 20km radius, creating
a true “0 km” supply chain.
Every garment in our clothing line is entirely Made in Italy. From the raw material to the final tailoring, each piece never leaves the country, with 100% of the processing carried out by skilled hands in Italy. Tailoring is performed exclusively in Bergamo, while for our machine-knitwear, we collaborate with specialised artisans in Northern Italy, specifically in Bergamo and Piedmont, chosen for their unique expertise.
The only exceptions to this 100% Italian production are our hand-knitted pieces and crochet accessories. While every design is conceived and prototyped in-house in Italy, and supported for sampling by a small network of local women in Bergamo also able to produce small batches, the final production is entrusted to exceptional partners in Perù.
Perù
In our pursuit of excellence, we sought the best partners globally who could guarantee the highest quality while respecting ethical standards. In Peru, we found a workshop that is professional, respectful of both people and natural resources, and produces garments of exquisite quality.
Our production in Peru is carried out by a stable collective of female artisans aged between 38 and 58. This partnership is built on a social model that empowers women, providing them with economic autonomy while allowing them to work from home. This flexibility is vital, as most of these women are mothers or grandmothers, and this model enables them to balance their craft with family responsibilities.
The artisans bring a wealth of traditional knowledge, passed down through generations, which is refined through continuous practical training. Although they work from home, they regularly visit the workshop for rigorous quality controls and technical adjustments.
Our commitment to ethical production is absolute. In collaboration with our partner, we certify that:
Ethical & Fair Standards: All garments are produced under fair, just, and responsible conditions, strictly adhering to labour laws.
No Child Labour: Every person involved is an adult, in full compliance with international legislation.
Fair Pay: Artisans receive a fair price, agreed upon in advance, which respects legal standards and accounts for the time, technical complexity, and artisanal value of their work.
Authentic Craftsmanship: Production is 100% artisanal and manual, performed without industrial processes.
By choosing this path, we preserve cultural heritage and promote a sustainable local economy, ensuring that the human element of our knitwear remains as valuable as the finished product.
